Where are you based?
We are based in Cambridgeshire, just outside Ely in Witchford. We have a 5* rated commercial kitchen.
How do I place an order with you?
Simply fill out our easy-to-follow form on our ‘Contact’ page with your enquiry and our team will get back to you about booking an order! If you are unsure about what size cake you will need (see 'pricing'), or wish to enquire about something bespoke, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will answer all of your cake queries!

How far in advance should I place my order?
As soon as possible! Unfortunately we can only fit in a certain amount of cakes a week due to being a small independent business and all our cakes are fresh to order. Therefore, please book in advance so we can make sure you get your cake when you want it.
However, if you are in desperate need of a last minute cake (we've all had that panic!) then please drop us an email or phone call and we will try and fit you in if we can.
Do you deliver?
Yes we do!! If you live in Cambridgeshire we will do our best to organise delivery for a small additional cost (collection is FREE!). However, if you live outside of Cambridgeshire and need an order for an event please get in touch and hopefully we will be able to organise something for you.
Can I order your cupcakes or brownies by post?
We can't send our cakes or cupcakes by post.
However, if you visit our shop, you can order our new Brownie Boxes, which can be posted throughout the UK. Check out the Shop for the full range.
Should I send a photo of what I am after?
YES! The more information you provide, the better! Photos are very helpful when it comes to designing your cake.
What is the best way to take care of my cake?
If you are collecting your cake(s) from our bakery, we recommend that you place the cake box flat onto the floor/in a footwell of your car whilst you are transporting the cake. Please avoid placing your cake(s) on a seat – this could cause your cake to slope! All of our cakes are freshly baked to order, and are best eaten on the day of collection/delivery – however, they will keep fresh for around 2-3 days in an airtight container. Please store your cakes at room temperature: we do not recommend storing your cake in the fridge unless specifically stated to do so. However, if your cake has a chocolate ganache, contains fresh cream or cream cheese, we advise you to store your cake in the fridge (we recommend wrapping the cake box in some cling film to avoid your cake taking on any fridge odours). Allow your cake to reach room temperature before serving.
Can I change my order once it has been placed?
Please give us as much notice as you can - 5 days is preferable - however, drop us an email and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Do I need to pay a deposit for my cake(s)?
Yes - once your order has been confirmed, we kindly ask for a 50% deposit. We offer a full refund of this deposit if you cancel the order 3 full days prior to the agreed collection date.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes! The minimum order for our cupcakes is:
Standard Cupcakes: Half a dozen
Mini Cupcakes: Dozen
The minimum order for our brownies: 8 brownies
How many flavours can I have in my order?
We have a minimum of half a dozen cupcakes per flavour. Mixed flavours of layer cakes, wedding cakes and bespoke cakes can be discussed - just drop us an email!

I've seen something on your Instagram that is not on your website. How do I order this?
We are really happy to have a conversation about anything that you have seen on our Instagram, and how we can make this happen for you. Not everything is in our shop, but we love receiving bespoke orders - get in touch!
Do you make Gluten Free?
Yes! Cakes with no gluten containing ingredients are available on request. We use Doves Farm free from gluten flour and baking powder.
Great care is taken to ensure that there is no cross contamination, however, individuals with severe allergies/ coeliac should be aware that the cakes are prepared in the same kitchen as our regular cakes. If you would like to discuss this please drop us an email!
Do you make Dairy Free?
Our brownies come in a dairy free option. We also have a limited amount of dairy free options for cakes - drop us an email to see if we can create your dream cake!
Do your cakes contain nuts?
Most of our cakes do not contain nuts and we are happy to accommodate customers who like us to avoid using nutty flavours and ingredients in their order. However, we do use nuts in our kitchen such as in our coffee and walnut cake, carrot cake and pistachio and rose cake. Therefore, our cakes are not suitable for individuals with nut allergies and we cannot guarantee that there has been no cross contamination.
Are your cakes suitable for vegetarians?
Yes are cakes are! We do not use any gelatine in our cakes with the exception of our marshmallows.
How much for delivery?
Depends on size or order and distance - send us an email and we will let you know.
Are the flowers edible?
On the whole, most of our flowers are not edible, unless otherwise discussed. Get in touch about this - we can provide edible flowers for your cake, at an additional cost.
Is the glitter and gold/silver leaf edible?
Yes, all of our glitters and gold/leaf additions are edible.
Can I come in for a tasting/consultation?
We provide consultations for couples, and select large orders, yes! However we prefer to have all of the information about your event, and a rough design of your cake before inviting you to the bakery. This way we can focus on the finer details and questions when you are here. Please note, consultation appointments often fill up months in advance. We normally suggest coming in during the day or at weekday evenings, but there are sometimes a few appointment times at weekends if we are not too busy in the kitchen.
What happens if I pick my cake up and it breaks during transit?
We take great care in preparing our cakes so they are internally supported and sturdy enough to travel. We also recommend that cakes travel in the boot or on the floor of the car, so they move with the car and are less likely to become damaged. However, we cannot accept responsibility for any breakages or damages to your order after it has left our store.
Do you have any cakes we can come and pick up today?
As we are a custom cake shop, we make all of our cakes to order, so do not have cakes ready on any given day.
You can click on our Shop and find orders that can be with you within 3-4 days.
I would like to purchase cake(s) for an event. How do I do this?
As a small family business we pride ourselves on being able to provide a bespoke service and would love to work with you towards making your event extra special. Just drop us an email or phone call with your thoughts!
How do I purchase cake(s) for a business (cafe, farm shop, restaurant, garden centre...)?
We would love to work with you, please give us a call or send an email and we can talk through the options and/or organise a taster.
I've sent through an email - when will I hear back?
We will be in touch as soon as possible to all enquiries, we are a busy little bakery and can take up to 3 days to get back to you. Any emails sent during a Saturday-Monday will be seen on Tuesday.
